Neptune Network Nigeria Ltd, in conjunction with the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ), has opened its North-East zonal office in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital for its subsidiary media outlet, Neptune Prime.
The zonal office which is located on the first floor, opposite Eco Bank, Maiduguri Road, Damaturu, Yobe State is to be headed by Malam Bashir Shettima Ali.
Malam.Bashir is a veteran journalist/broadcaster who was once a News Editor with the Yobe Broadcasting Corporation (YBC) and later with the Borno Radio and Television (BRTV).
The office which has been equipped with the necessary media kits has three reporters, namely Sa’adatu Maina, Omale John Achimugu and Ali Modu each covering the three senatorial zones of Yobe State; Yobe South, Yobe West and Yobe North respectively, while collaborating with other North-East correspondents to ensure adequate coverage of the zone.
In that regard, the management of the company has solicited the support of all North-East residents, and Yobeans in particular, to collaborate with the office through its correspondents and other representatives to enable it to give the zone the best coverage in line with international best practices.
